About Us

Patients with brain tumors face a unique set of challenges when seeking medical care.  Treatment for brain tumors depends on a number of factors including the type, location, and size of the tumor as well as the patient's age and general health.

Neuro-Oncology Associates, located on the campus of Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, treat patients diagnosed with benign or malignant tumors, both primary and metastatic.  We take a multi-disciplinary team approach to treatment which allows us to consult with a variety of specialists who are highly trained in tumors of the brain and nervous system.

Neurological Complications?  We Can Help.

Neuro-Oncology Associates offer diagnosis and treatment for neurological complications of cancer and chemotherapy.  An estimated 15 to 20 percent of cancer patients have symptomatic neurologic complications during the course of their illness.  The most common complaints are back pain, mental status changes, headache, limb pain, and leg weakness.

Our Patients Are Part of Our Team

Neuro-Oncology Associates is proud to include their patients as part of their care team.  Patients and their families (if desired) are encouraged to participate in the development of their own individualized treatment plan.  Together, with their patients, Neuro-Oncology Associates will work to produce the best possible outcome for each patient's specific diagnosis.

Disease and Conditions

Brain tumors are classified depending on the exact site of the tumor, the type of tissue involved, whether they are noncancerous (benign) or cancerous (malignant), and other factors.
