Clinical Research Trials
Clinical research trials can provide patients with better outcomes. Through our participation in the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative, a consortium of medical institutions studying new treatments for brain tumors, we can provide patients access to innovative treatments that might not otherwise be available.
Our neuro-oncology research is conducted under th auspices of Baylor Research Institute (BRI). BRI promotes and supports research that brings innovative treatments from the laboratory workbench to the patient's bedside. This bench-to-bedside concept is made a reality through the Institutes's focus on basic science, clinical trials, and health care effectiveness and quality of care reserach. Currently, investigators at Baylor are conducting more than 500 active research protocols in more than 20 medical specialties.
