What can you expect from our multi-desciplinary approach to treatment?
When you put your care in our hands, you'll be treated by a team of dedicated specialits joined by our commitment to produce the best possible outcome for you. Our neuro-oncologist, Dr. Karen Fink, is a physician specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, and will oversee all aspects of your treatment and care.
Dr. Fink is supported by a nurse practitioner, Vanessa Nestor, who has received advanced training in caring for patients with brain tumors, and a nursing staff with extensive experience with chemotherapy and investigational agents for brain tumor patients. Together, our goal is to provide you with warm and compassionate, state-of-the-art care in a bright and friendly environment.
While you are under our care, your referring physician, neurosurgeon, oncologist or primary care physician will remain an important part of your health care team. We will work in concert with these physicians, providing updates on your progress as desired.
Patients with brain tumors experience a variety of complex issues, including the need to mobilize family and financial resources. As part of our commitment to our patients, we offer social work service, assessment of care needs and access to medication assistance programs.
